Motion design in the realm of film and television enjoyed a decade of relative prominence during the 1990s, taking the form of high end title sequences, but began to take more of a backseat in the entertainment industry by mid 2000s, due to a variety of factors such as budget cuts in the major studios. For the projects above, OPTIKOM was mostly involved in the concept development, visual branding, and art direction aspects of the process, responsible for all the design, and only occasionally for animation. Most of these were realised with motion design agencies such as Buster, Picture Mill, Bob's Your Uncle, and United Senses.
